About Amanda Graham
Raised in South Carolina, my adult life has been lived in Colorado, San Francisco, Atlanta, and North Carolina. Some people vacation in new places, I move to them. My path has not been straight nor has it always been clear, but the common threads have been a passionate curiosity about human behavior and a desire to be of service.
My early work as a professional actor was an immersion in understanding people and relationships as the foundation for sharing the human experience with my audiences. My passion for animals led to work in Animal Welfare, including leadership of an animal protection society, and prosecuting the first felony dogfighting case in North Carolina.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with a wide variety of people, and served as Director of a community mental health center in Colorado, where I created new programs in Mindfulness based therapies and Equine Assisted Therapy.
As an executive in a large, mission-driven managed care company, I have incorporated all of my life experience to develop leaders, improve corporate communications, institute organizational transformation and engagement initiatives, and grow a values-driven culture.
My life journey has prepared me for where I am today by taking risks, listening to my inner wisdom, and saying ‘yes’ to opportunities that seemed out of reach at the time. I look forward to helping you find the answers you seek and the outcomes to succeed.
